How to create a private network?

  1. Create a network. Go to Networks → click Create Network. Enter any name (you can leave all other settings at their defaults);
  2. Create a subnet. In the same network, create a subnet. You can keep all default settings;
  3. Set up a router. Go to Routers → click Create Router. As the external network, select one of the available external networks;
  4. Connect the subnet to the router. Add a router interface and select the subnet you created in step 2 as the attached network.

Done!

Now, when creating a virtual machine, you’ll be able to attach it to your private network.

This network is fully isolated from the external environment, only your virtual servers can reside in it.

However, you can assign a floating IP address to any virtual machines in this network to grant it internet access.
